RAB PHOTON Primaloft jacket

The Rab Photon Jacket is a very warm, synthetic-filled jacket, offering exceptional levels of warmth and water resistance. We stock both the Rab Photon Pro Jacket (BLUE) and the Rab Photon X (BLACK).

The two styles are very similar. Basically they are both very warm, synthetically insulated, water-resistant jackets.

The main difference is that the Photon Pro has two chest pockets, whereas the Photon X has one. Also, the Photon Pro is filled with Stratus™ recycled insulation, and the Photon X is filled with premium Primaloft® Gold synthetic insulation.

Similarities:
The Photon Pro outer fabric is Atmos Pro™ and the Photon X outer fabric is Pertex® Endurance® - both are wind and water resistant.

Both versions have zoned insulation - there are more in areas where you need it, and less in areas of the body where movement and breathability are more important. This jacket is built for staying warm while moving in the mountains.

What it's for:
The Photon was designed for the Scottish Highlands in winter, but is equally at home whether you are going to mid-level altitudes, say in the 4000 to 6000m range in the world's great ranges: Patagonia, New Zealand in winter or other cold places.
